Villa Palma, with its captivating charm and the gift of tranquility, truly encapsulates the essence of the Croatian coast, often referred to by locals as "the Mediterranean as it once was."
Nestled in the western bay of Molunat, near the renowned city of Dubrovnik, the villa is enveloped by both natural and cultivated greenery spread across 4.5 hectares (11 acres). Notable among the flora are the orange and olive trees that adorn numerous terraces.
Enhanced by terracotta roofs and flooring, a paved stone terrace, a Tuscany ochre facade, and surrounded by fragrant orange trees, Villa Palma offers an authentic rustic ambiance, promising a genuine Mediterranean experience. Villa Palma
For those seeking relaxation, waking up to the soothing sounds of the crystal-clear sea, breathing in healing salt air, and immersing oneself in a unique ambiance that rejuvenates both body and soul is truly a blessing.
For the more energetic, a hidden path leads to a private beach carved into the rocks, featuring a natural sea pool for children — an exclusive retreat for our guests. With no neighboring houses in sight, it provides unparalleled privacy, offering a slice of paradise all to yourself.
Originally built in the early 20th century by local farmers and surrounded by two hundred olive trees dating back to the 1700s, this family home has been a source of authentic wine and olive oil. This tradition, kept alive by their descendants, allows guests to savor these exquisite products to this day.
Inspired by a blend of traditional and modern sensibilities, Villa Palma underwent a complete three-year renovation after almost 90 years. While maintaining its original size, the villa now boasts a swimming pool and a modern, new interior, making it one of the most beautiful and strategically positioned villas in the Adriatic. Situated in the quaint fishermen's village of Molunat, it is in proximity to Dubrovnik, Cavtat, Montenegro, and only 20 km from Dubrovnik International Airport, offering a multicultural experience within reach.
All of these elements were curated to provide our guests with a sense of serenity and a meditative quality to their holidays.
Upon entering the spacious living room of the villa, a dining table for eight extends a warm welcome. The room is adorned with terracotta flooring, a large leather sofa, a big-screen LED TV, and a Provencal-style kitchen. The impressive view of the sea through a large sliding glass door and window adds to the ambiance.
The kitchen, equipped with oakwood and terracotta accents, is spacious and fully equipped, facilitating the preparation of both light lunches and elaborate dinners, as per Mediterranean traditions.
The villa comprises four bedrooms, each featuring wood-framed high ceilings, modern queen-size double beds, built-in custom-made closets, and en suite bathrooms with showers. The rooms are airy and designed for relaxation.
Multiple terraces, balconies, and a pool-surrounding terrace are scattered across different levels, allowing guests to choose between basking in the Adriatic sun or daydreaming in the cool shade of trees around the property.
The 5 x 14 meter-long infinity pool creates an illusion of continuity between the pool and the sea. Equipped with canopies, and with the option of sunbeds if you decide to stay poolside, it transforms into the perfect sunset viewing spot in the evenings. Add a glass of your favorite beverage, and it becomes a delightful and relaxing moment.
Facing the main house is a covered BBQ area, providing the opportunity to grill fresh fish caught by local fishermen in the bay in front of the villa. If you are a fish enthusiast, note that the main fishing season is in May and June when you can regularly observe the catching of tuna and yellow-tail.
For any desire, the proprietor can be your concierge. Whether it's arranging for a master chef to prepare a special dinner at the villa, delivering local homemade food, organizing a boat rental for the day, SCUBA diving lessons, wine tasting at a local winery, a special fish dinner at a charming Cavtat restaurant, various excursions to Dubrovnik or the Montenegro coastal area, or simply enjoying your favorite Champagne at sunset by the pool — we are here to ensure every moment is as perfect as Villa Palma itself.
Welcome to the Villa Palma!
